That’s the feeling we can fairly describe when we are starting out our business.
Or maybe you’ve had the business for so long and all these ads about “branding” keep popping out that’s making you feel guilty and ashamed why you don’t have your branding covered yet?
As if the only thing bridging the gap between where you are now and success in your business is … branding.
How do you stand out as a brand in this noisy digital world?
We all know about spiritual warfare, old mindsets, sales strategies, marketing and all that stuff in between too.
First order of business in this blog post—- breathe.
Just take a huge deep breath right now and as you release your breath, surrender all of the overwhelming feelings to Jesus.
Grab a water and drink it too… or tea, coffee?
Play a beautiful soothing worship song in the background too.
After that, here’s the next order of business- branding!
Let’s talk about it.
You may be asking, “ how do I stand out as a brand, Jenna?”
Here’s the answer!!! 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
You will eventually fail when you are just copying everyone.
I see this mistake all the time. Copying all trending things without an actual strategy or the why behind what you do.
I think when or if you do this in the beginning of your business or building a brand, it’s fine when you are in the discovery phase of finding out what you like, what you vibe.
But if you’re here reading this, and you already have a business, this is for you.
Stop copying every trendy viral thing.
You’ll waste time creating content without an overall goal or direction. You’re like throwing darts in the opposite direction – not even a chance to hit the target.
How do I know that? I’ve done that.
I even knew what God called me to do, had an offer to promote, but I got lost along the way because I jumped on every viral trend without sticking to a strategy.
I believe it’s time for us Kingdom people, believers, my fellow Christian women, sis— to stop following where everyone is going because it’s trendy.
We are not even called to follow others, but make a statement- the Kingdom kind. To preach His Kingdom, so live out and promote counter cultural ways.
I believe one main reason why we tend to copy what others have done is because we don’t believe in ourselves, that we can do that without the trends.
If you ask yourself today, do you believe in what God has called you to do?
Will you trust Him today?
Will you trust you? Just like He trusts you.
Do you believe your business has what it takes to create impact in the world?
1. Repent in disobeying God first.
2. Revisiting God’s faithfulness. If He did it before, He can do it again. If He used you before, He can do it again. If you succeeded before, you can again.
3. Write down God’s promises for you. And remind yourself of these things daily.
The only thing left to do is do it!
Your belief will get stronger in the days to come.
I believe in you, girl!
God believes in you!
